INTERMODAL VENICE TERMINAL

STRATEGIC CROSSING POINT FROM MEDITERRANEAN TO EUROPE

New Venice Intermodal Terminal is located a cross three main European freight transport corridors (corridor I, corridor V and corridor VIII); it is a trans-european hub between South-East Mediterranean area and European trade.

It is the the first port upon entering Venice lagoon and it is considered the closest logistic center to Po valley waterways.

The new terminal integrates the complete port activities within the Venice system, that represents an important hub for investments and infrastructures for integrated logistics management. It has been planned and built to create a perfect synergy between couriers and shipment units, as requested by European standards.

The new direct link, dedicated to rolling stocks, vans, cars and trailer transport (also refrigerated), from North Italy, North, cerner Europe and Greece and balcanian countries

HOW TO REACH THE TERMINAL

The terminal represents a crossing point of the regional and national motorways network.


BY CAR: It is 10 minutes from the highway network (A4 Milan-Venice-Trieste, A13 Padua-Bologna, A22 Venice-Verona-Brenner-Munich and “Romea” Venice-Ravenna).

BY TRAIN: direct line with rail station and cargo station in Venice-Mestre.

BY AIR: It is 10 km far from the international airport of Venice and 30 km far from the airport of Treviso.
